How the work actually happens
A local hand, not a distant one
Sangh Bharati Foundation began with a handful of volunteers running evening classes under a streetlight. We still work the same way - in the community, with the community.

Is my donation eligible for tax exemption?
Donations are eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Your 80G receipt is issued by email once the contribution is received. [Add your 80G registration number here before publishing.]
Can I choose which programme my money supports?
Yes. You can direct your contribution to education, health, nutrition, livelihood or environment - or leave it to us to place where the need is greatest that quarter.
How much of my donation reaches the field?
We hold administrative and fundraising costs under 12 percent. The remainder goes directly to programme delivery, and the split is published in our quarterly report.
Can I donate goods instead of money?
Often, yes - books, stationery, school bags, blankets and sewing material are all useful. Please write to us first so we can confirm what is needed and where to send it.
Can my company partner with you under CSR?
Yes. We work with companies on funded programmes, employee volunteering and skill partnerships. Use the enquiry form and choose Partnership / CSR.
